In the very short widow between the Covid pandemic and the current political unrest, I was fortunate enough to squeeze in a trip to Peru. After finishing and publishing all my photographs, I stumbled upon this one I'd missed. The two Peruvian ladies are deep in the creative process, and unaware (as was I) of the outstanding compositional arrangement that they, their distinctive hats and the surroundings made. Color was removed in favor of the duotone image you see here.
