Bella is another portrait of a horse I completed. This is the first of my equine series, and was essentially a practice painting to teach myself how to render the forms and colors in this complex subject. I am inspired by the beauty of horses, and the intricate colors, forms and shapes I am able to work with while painting them, which is part of the reason why I am so interested in them.
